Notes:

James Buckley was a land agent and surveyor in early 18th century and was also a trustee of Cranage Forge near Knutsford. This transcription of his surviving cash book, 1729-33, sheds light on his business interests, notably the forge and the local iron production industry, as well as his land agency / estate management business and his life generally. Largely comprises the transcription [pp1-177] with a substantial introductory essay [pp xv-li] and family trees of Buckley and Vawdrey families.
