Comprises c23 papers originally submitted in c1965 to Mr Raoul Hafner, Technical Director (Research) of Westland Aircraft Ltd, by various technical experts associated with the rotorcraft industry. These were to assist him in writing his contribution on 'British Rotorcraft' for a special centenary issue of the Royal Aeronautical Society's Journal. The papers were subsequently published in full by Westland for presentation, inter alia, to the Royal Aeronautical Society for inclusion in its library.
