Lady C Guest, 1812-95, wife of (Sir) Josiah John Guest, 1785-1852, sometime owner of Dowlais, was much involved in the day to day management of the business, in support of her husband. On his death she was sole active trustee of the business. Withdrew in 1855 following her marriage to Charles Schreiber, 1826-84. Also involved in the education of children of the Dowlais workforce.
