Notes:
Strongly focused on Cecilia Dunbar Kilburn and the activities of her and Athole Hay to promote the work of young artists, especially from the Royal College of Art, through the sale of their output and of manufactured goods based on their designs. Their store was, in effect, a gallery mixing quality industrial and craft products. A book of quality design heavily illustrated with images of the products sold but with comparatively little about the business on account of an absence of surviving archives. Sections include: 1] the RCA connection; 2] 'Industrial artists, an emerging profession'; 3] the business of Dunbar Hay; 4] closure for the duration
