Arthur J Pearson was a senior railway manager working in the 1930s for London Midland & Scottish Railway. 1947 moved to Railway Executive [Chief Administrative Officer], to British Transport Commission in 1953 and finally to London Midland Region of British Railways in 1958. Retired 1963. Autobiography of his business career.
