William G Barker, 1868-1951, film producer. Established Autoscope Co, London, in 1901 to make newsreels and documentaries. Soon after it merged with Warwick Trading Co which he soon left to form Barker Motion Photography Ltd. Retired 1918. George B Samuelson, 1889-1947, established in 1910 Royal Film Agency, a rental business, before starting film production in 1913 with studios at Isleworth. Subsequently formed British Super Films and Napoleon Films
