Largely comprises the catalogue of wallpapers - mostly English but also French, Chinese, Japanese, etc. Structured in three parts: 'Anonymous wallpapers'; 'Pattern books'; 'Designers'. The pattern books are, for most part, not anonymous. The designers include: Charles Voysey; William Morris; Walter Crane; etc. Two introductory chapters, one by Charles Oman from the 1929 Catalogue.
