Provides a transcription [pp37-232] of what appears to be a customer ledger, 1730-58, but entries largely cease in 1748. In the hand of Charles Ackers throughout. Also contains an extensive introductory chapter on the history of the Ackers business and analysis of the ledger's content; an appendix listing books printed by Ackers; an appendix providing 'A chronological list of books printed by Ackers in the years covered by his extant ledger, 1732-48'. Also contains much about the 'London Magazine', both in the introduction and the transcription
