Traces origins to 1763 when established by Thomas Jackson and developed in particular by George Jackson, 1766-1840. By 1800 undertaking prestigious plasterwork from moulds projects, in due course introducing fibrous plaster. By 1900 also decorating ocean liners. Early 20th century acquired Plastic Decoration & Papier Mache Co and G & A Brown. Incorporated 1910. c1930s relocated from central London to Hammersmith. 1947 business sold by Jackson family to Fenning & Co Ltd. 2000 acquired by Bernie Wilks. Continues
