He had formerly been involved with H R Godfrey in GN Ltd which made cycle-cars. Fraser Nash in difficulties 1927 when reformed as AFN Ltd. Controlled by Aldington family from 1932. Moved from Kingston upon Thames to Isleworth in 1929. From 1930s associated with BMW when imported and assembled their cars. Small volume producer. Sold Porsche cars from mid 1950s and acquired by Porche Great Britain in 1960s
