Traced origins to the construction business established in 1907 by George Percy Trentham, 1881-1940, at Birmingham. Early on specialised in laying cables, water pipes, tramlines, etc. Soon worked outside Birmingham area. 1913 incorporated as G Percy Trentham Ltd. Thereafter undertook much factory building, eg Dagenham for Ford Motor Co Ltd and Fort Dunlop for Dunlop Rubber Co Ltd, as well as residential and infrastructure projects increasingly outside West Midlands. Collapsed 1991 when trading name acquired by Beazer Construction
