Notes:

Traced origins to Arthur R Timson and Charles Bullock who in 1896 established a shoe machine repair business as Timson & Bullock. Soon diversified into manufacture of shoe making machinery and bicycles, later motorcycles. By 1901 known as Timson Bullock & Barber and by 1907 diversifying into manufacture of printing machinery which soon became major focus. By then based at Perfecta Works. Sold through H Nedden & Co which was acquired during 1914-18. Incorporated 1912 as Timson Bullock & Barber Ltd and renamed in 1933 Timsons Ltd. Between wars focused on rotary presses and from 1950s on business form printing presses. Subsequently specialised in book printing machinery. Continues in 2023 [2023]
