Accommodated in particular small businesses but there were some large ones including Arthur Guinness Son & Co Ltd, United Biscuits Ltd, Lancashire Dynamo & Crypto, H J Heinz & Co Ltd, Park Royal Vehicles, Waterlow & Son Ltd and so on. The area is spread across the London Boroughs of Brent and Ealing. A major developer of the area was Allnatt (London) Ltd which built industrial units from the early 1930s
