Expanded rapidly. 1895 referred to as a court dressmaker and in 1904 reorganised as Lucile Ltd and trading as Maison Lucile, a high couture house based in London's West End. c1909-11 opened branches at Paris, New York and Chicago. 1919 business in difficulties and it closed in early 1920s [2023]
