Johnson subsequently established a sister house at London. Emerged as a leading shipper of Brazilian coffee but also imported and acted as an agency business. London and Santos businesses incorporated as E Johnson & Co Ltd in 1906. 1909 Brazilian Warrant Co Ltd, later known as Brazilian Warrant Agency & Finance Co Ltd, floated in London to acquire certain of Johnson's assets and subsequently bought the business which continued to trade separately. 1952 Brazilian Warrant acquired by Brazilian owners.
