Notes:

Traced origins to 1813 when established by James Hall and Richard Lander, pinmakers trading as Hall & Lander. 1817 joined by John English, son of their needle supplier, when known as Hall Lander & English. From 1821 known as Hall English & Co, from 1834 as Hall English & Gutch and from 1841 as Hall & Gutch. Early on opened a London warehouse and also diversified into dealing in needles, brasswire, fish hooks, etc. Always a mediium sized Gloucester pinmaker. Closed 1843
