Traced origins in business to George Aspland and Ben Howden who were travelling fairground showmen from mid 19th century, trading as Asplands. By 1906 business led by George Aspland Howden who established a travelling bioscope show. 1910-11 opened cinemas at Boston and Spalding and subsequently three large cinemas there. Business continued by his sons
