By 1880s made industrial and agricultural steam engines and in 1882 built first steam traction vehicle. Made first steam lorry in 1900 and began switch to diesel in c1930. Post 1945 also made buses until early 1980s. 1948 started to make diesel engines in-house. Made first large capacity tipper lorry 1946.
