Traced origins to 1759 when established by Thomas Davis, a valuer and auctioneer. Developed into a leading local firm of estate agents, chartered surveyors and livestock and fine art auctioneers with several branches. 1881 known as Alexander Davis & Harry Few, by 1888 as Thomas Dreweatt and by 1919 as Dreweatt Watson & Barton. 1987 merged with Neates of Hungerford to form Dreweatt Neates which in 2009 merged with Carter Jonas
