Also undertook contract ploughing, giving way to 'industrial' contract work by 1939, especially for the Air Ministry. By 1939 important Essex agricultural and industrial machinery dealers and repairers. Opened branches from early 1940s. Incorporated 1947 and in same year formed Colchester Tractors Ltd. Subsequently established several branches throughout East Anglia and in Home Counties. Connected especially with Ford Motor Co Ltd. By 1998 had 14 branches and sold and serviced agricultural, construction and lawn machinery as well as operating agricultural stores. Continues in 2024 [2024]
