Post 1918 started as local retailers/repairers for Armstrong Siddeley and, especially, Morris Motors Ltd. 1940s ceased bodybuilding and thereafter acted as dealers and repairers for Morris and Rolls-Royce, establishing several branches in south Lancashire and Cheshire. Converted to public company in 1959 and in 1968 acquired by Lex Garages Ltd
