Richard Booth, 1938-2019, was a second hand bookseller noted for his very large bookshop in the Old Fire Station at Hay on Wye in early 1970s. From this, Hay emerged as a leading centre of the second hand book trade, winning the title 'Town of Books'. Hay Literary Festival a spin off. Sold shop 2005
