Evolved from a series of partnerships established in 1860s to make ceramic tiles at Jackfield, Henry Powell Dunnill, 1821-95, in 1870s [?1872] became the leading personality in the new firm of Hargreaves, Craven & Dunnill at Jackfield Works. Developed as a leading ceramic tile maker using well known designers. Later known as Craven Dunnill & Co Ltd. Production ended 1951 when the firm focused on ceramic tile distribution at Bridgnorth. Jackfield Works subsequently became a museum, part of Iron Gorge Museum Trust. In 2001 Craven, Dunnill, Jackfield Ltd was revived to make tiles at Jackfield
