Subsequently owned foundry which also traded as Green's Foundry. Made castings for local buildings and machinery and also steam engines, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, etc. Became best known for mining equipment, especially dressing machines, which was exported worldwide. Also acted as agents of local mines and acquired others. George was succeeded by his sons, William and James. Foundry closed following a major fire in 1908
